First course: Curried Roasted Buttercup Squash & Apple Soup topped with creme fraiche


Side Dish: Sweet Potato Mash with Brandy Carmelized Apple


Side Dish: Apple Slaw with Grape Dressing topped with toasted walnuts


Main: Roasted grape and Rosemary & Thyme rubbed Turkey


Main: Apple, Leek and Rosemary Stuffing


Main: The roasted grapes from the turkey, it's our cranberry sauce. Yes, we're adventerous that way!

Dessert: My famous famous Apple pie, but this time there's a twist -- Cardamom Apple Pie with Sparkling Cinnamon Crust
(made with hand picked apples from previous week, actually all the apples featured in the dishes in this dinner were all hand picked at Chudleigh's -- LOOK AT THE AUTUMN LEAVES DECORATION!!!!!)

Boomers Gourmet Fries (26 Erie St, Stratford - 519.275.3147)

This place has the best frites next to Montreal! Owner Sue Pasquale makes everything from scratch, she warned us about the addictive Garlic Mayo and she was right!

Great theatre. We saw "Into the Woods" which is about a bunch of fairy tales crossing paths in the woods and what happen to the "happy ever after".


Garlic's Restaurant (108 Downie Street - 519.275.2929)

Everything you can dream of about garlic! We especially went there for their Duck Bruchetta (toasted bread with bordeaux chevre, confit of duck, caramelized onion, fontal cheese and fresh thyme, finished with lemon oil) but unfortunately the new menu hasn't kicked in yet. But everything else there was very delicious. Reasonably priced, across from the Avon Theatre, good ambiance.
